OUR STORY
It started with a simple resolution.
I wanted to be more intentional about the products I was bringing into my home and using every day. Laundry was one of the first places I decided to start. I began looking into simpler detergent options and eventually decided to try making my own.
My first batches were simple: three base ingredients, mixed together in my own laundry room. Once I had the formula I liked, I started experimenting with essential oil combinations. That's where the fun really began. I could take something as ordinary as laundry detergent and make it feel personal.
Before long, I had different blends, names, and ideas for how I wanted to package them. What began as something I made for myself became something I genuinely wanted to share with other people.
Faith at the heart of it
My faith is a part of who I am, so naturally, it became part of Sherm & Co too.
I believe that the things we create with our hands can have purpose, even when they begin with something as ordinary as doing laundry. Sherm & Co is a reminder for me to be intentional with the work in front of me, to create with care, and to trust God with what comes from it.
That's why Scripture is woven throughout the brand. Each scent has its own verse, and Psalm 90:17 is especially meaningful to me:
“May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands.”

Why Sherm & Co?
Sherm comes from my name, Shermine. It’s the nickname I’ve been given by the people who know me best and have always called me. When I started thinking about what I wanted this brand to feel like, using Sherm made it personal from the very beginning.
And the “& Co” represents more than just a business name. It represents the people, stories, and everyday moments that make something personal worth sharing. Sherm & Co is something I created, but I hope it becomes something that people can make their own.
I wanted the brand to feel thoughtful, simple, and personal. Every scent has a story behind it, every batch is prepared in small quantities, and every detail is something I chose intentionally.
